when i was in college, my roommate’s boyfriend decided that he was going to kill himself by jumping off a 5 foot high bridge into 3 feet of snow.  I was content to let him jump into the snow pile because it wasn’t like he was going to get hurt.  my roommate insisted that we “save him” and instead, i got punched in the stomach repeatedly.

that was a good night
